You may have noticed your child came home with two books from the learning commons! Students who have been bringing their books back on a regular basis are now allowed to take two books each week. Please support your child in caring for these books.

For Christmas a received a beautiful fish aquarium for our classroom! Today we talked about all the parts of the tank and what they might be for. Here is a picture of all of the items which came with the tank.

Please discuss them with your child - why might these items be important for a fish? What does a fish need in its habitat? *click the word to read its definition

We can't wait to put fish in our tank, now that it is all set up! How else can we care for our fish?

Please support your child with learning these words. They should be able to look at them and read them without sounding out the letters. They should also be able to use them in a sentence. Learning these words will help them with reading and writing!
