What an exciting day back! Students wrote about what they did over the break and did a watch, think, colour game using the 100s chart. The 100s chart revealed a secret picture - ask me what it was!





While I was away, I learned about how the humpback whales migrate to Hawaii during the winter months. Here is the visual I showed the students of the migration patterns.


Please ask your child, what does it mean when an animal migrates? Why do some animals migrate?

Reminders
Wednesday is our learning commons day. Those students who are consistent with bringing back and taking care of books, will now take two books out each week. Please continue to support your child with reading and taking care of these books! :)
