The last couple of days we have been learning a LOT about bees and why they are important for plants. Please ask your child all about bees and why we need them! Here are some additional questions

  3. What colour are bees?
  4. What shape is a honey comb? How many sides does it have?
  5. What do bees COLLECT?
  6. What do bees spread around from flower to flower?
  7. What is pollination?
  8. Can bees fly in the rain? Why not?
  9. How does honey taste? feel? smell?
  10. How many legs do bees have?

Today was our last day of swimming! ALL of the children have done so well - you should all be so proud! I have taken many pictures, which I will print and send home with students in their visual journals. Thank you to all the volunteers that supported us during this BUSY time! :)

Parents/Guardians,

Tomorrow, June 21, is National Aboriginal Day and we will be celebrating with a school-wide Aboriginal-themed Sports Day.

Please send your son/daughter to school dressed appropriately in athletic-type clothing and running shoes. Feel free to send a water bottle and sunscreen as well. Weather permitting, we will be outside for most of the afternoon.
