Sheila Rae the Brave and Never Give Up!
Today we read two stories about two very brave, persistent, and courageous characters!
In Sheila Rae the Brave, she always said to herself...
In, Never Give Up, the main character is trying to learn how to ride a bike and even though others are laughing at his training wheels (which is not showing kindness), he knows that if he keeps practicing and trying, he will get it!
Don't give up, he told himself. You can do this!
This is what I have asked our student to do when they are trying to learn new things that are challenging - like swimming! Or learning how to ride a bike!
